There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. The bill was fair for the quality of food. Reminds me of a place in New York I liked to visit.

Their online menu does not match what they actually serve in person..... the whole point of having an online menu is to check out if you want to eat there ........... disappointed!

Nothing but enjoyable experiences here. The bill was appropriate. Feeling here is similar to a cafe in San Jose I liked.

It’s was different than many places in NY, definitely has French touch, but I think needs renovation. Food was good

Was there for an event. Apps were delicious and the midnight papillon drink was amazing.

Straight couple in a choice optional local place, shunned and ignored. The barkeep was training with words not actions. By far this was the lowest point in our NYC experience. The upside is it can only get better.

A good option for the neighborhood if you’re looking for drinks after work or for work meetings where you can be a bit more relaxed. Food is okay drinks are standard bar drinks.

Although there working, Papillon is a great after work establishment for nearby corporate 9 to 5ers and M private parties.

Good lunch spot

The $25 brunch is a very good value for the area. It is Fifth Ave, for god's sakes! And the place is a beautiful old bar exuding warm vibes and, hinting of a possible a rich history. The back room seats 10 people comfortably and you can hear what your friends are saying

Unique Place for Burger and Beer..

We were treated well, but normal food. Beware of the hamburger: they put a large slice of raw onion.

Cocktails are really good, service at the bar is friendly and they have a nice selection. Dinner was great, excellent service! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, great for a small or large dinner party.

Beautiful Opera music on Saturdays

Opera night was very enjoyable

Had drinks there which were exceptional (Sangria was fantastic!). Went right before Christmas and the decor was georgeous. We had planned on eating there but it was so crowded and VERY hot (mix of heat going and people's bodies). If you go during this time wear layers that you can strip down to.

We spent Christmas Eve 2019 in the private room in the back of this restaurant. The atmosphere was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and professional. According to my family, the food was awesome. I personally prefer healthier options for food. But I understand I was not in my specific type of restaurant, so I can't say anything negative. And although, I didn't have any vegetarian protein in my meal, they went the extra mile to make sure my risotto rice with asparagus was vegan. The Christmas decorations were out of this world. They definitely went all out. This is a place for great memories. Loved the experience.

Was there for lunch with a friend today. The food was excellent and do was the service. Can’t wait to go back. Very festive also this time of year.

Decoration was beautiful - that’s what I got us in the door and the menu although pricey looked appealing. Walked in and sat and the waitress took a long then to greet us. Only to begin by asking if we knew what we wanted and then walked away when we said no had to call back to ask if we could get drinks. Overall service was not great between letting the waitress know we had to be out in an hour and then lacking silverware and having to find her to get the check. Food was average came out cold and looked like it was sitting out before arriving to our table. Not worth it at all besides the scenery.

The Place is cozy for drinks, relaxing and nicely decorated for the holidays. The order did take a little longer, maybe because it was really busy on a Sunday. We order two appetizers but it took a while to get the appetizer. The appetizers were ok, but drinks were good.

Bar with late night dancing on the second floor and food on the first floor. Came here post-office holiday party and it was pretty lit. Stayed here until 3am on a Thursday night and ended on eating some chicken tenders and chicken skewers (people didn’t like the peanut sauce but I was in the minority that did). The DJ mainly played bangers from the 90s and early 2000s, and people were dancing around all over the place. There was one big fan which helped cool you off if you stood in front of it, but otherwise it gets pretty stuffy. People just left their coats on the booths since there wasn’t a coat check. There is an elevator you could take to get to the second floor but the stairs do look pretty. It was nicely decorated for Christmas and it’s very festive. When we ate downstairs after getting directed away, we ordered at the bar and they gave us the food. It did take quite a bit of time to receive them, and I was surprised there wasn’t table service. Overall though I had a fun time, and the food satiates you.

Food not so good. Service Ok

I attempted to eat here with my wife and 9 month old. As soon as we went to the hostess stand we did not feel welcome. They kept asking if "we have a reservation" even though people were not waiting for a seat. We were then told they had no room for our stroller and "its probably to loud here for a baby". It is clear this place is not kid friendly. Our group of 4 went next door and spent 200$ on Italian. Not kid friendly at all.

Service was very good, the burger was tasty and the price did not break the bank.
